St. Augustine Grass Notice

At Mata-Turf, high quality grass is integral to our business, and we refuse to supply our clients with inferior turf. Therefore, we believe it to be in the best interest of our valued customers to provide guidance and updates pertaining to supply shortages. The 2021 Texas winter storm devastated the amount of St Augustine grasses for suppliers statewide. Mata-Turf is experiencing shortages in Palmetto, FJ Select, and Raleigh St. Augustine grass inventory. In approximately two to three weeks, Mata-Turf will be able to harvest more of these grasses and replenish our supply. We have provided some alternative grasses below for your convenience.

For areas with good sunlight:

If you have a large area, Mata-Turf can Hydromulch it with Common Bermuda Seed. Your lawn will be ready in 6 weeks. *If you require a Certificate of Occupancy for a new building/residence, occupancy, or a closing most companies will accept Hydromulch Seeding for inspections.
