Description
Palmetto St. Augustine is great choice for residential and commercial use because it grows under a wide range of climate and soil conditions, and thrives in shaded areas where other grasses fail. It develops a massive root system, and once established tolerates drought conditions better than some grasses.

Salt Tolerance: Very Good
Recovery From Injury: Good
Winter Color: Dormant
Mowing Height: 1 1/2" to 2"
Use: Residential, Commercial
 
General Care
Fertilization:
Twice annually, using a 16-4-8 in the springtime, and 10-10-10 application in the fall.
Watering:
During the hot summer months, 1" of water per week is usually sufficient in most soils
Mowing:
Mow as needed
Fungicides: Tolerant to Daconil, Heritage, or Banner.
