| Description |
Greyish
green in color and medium fine texture; can be established
from sprigs or solid sod and grows best in full sun..
Excellent weed and disease resistance, spreads faster
than 328 Tifgreen and Tiflawn for fairways, tees, athletic
fields and similar uses. When cut 1-1/2" to 2", 419 provides
an excellent impact absorbing cushion on playing fields.
Can plant year round from solid sod, however sprigging
should be performed between April 15 and October 15. |
