Description
Tifgreen, due to its bright green color and fine textured leaf, is commonly used on golf courses across the Southern United States. The grain of the grass is even, lending itself well for use on putting greens. Tifgreen will also give the homeowner a very fine textured lawn.

Wear Resistance: Excellent
Salt Tolerance: Very Good
Recovery From Injury: Excellent
Winter Color: Dormant
Mowing Height: 1/2"
Use: Putting Greens
 
General Care
Fertilization:
Needs 10 lbs. of Nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft. for optimum growth: two to four times per year.
Watering:
Water every day, ensuring that 1/2" of soil beneath the surface is sufficiently soaked.
Mowing:
Needs to be mowed daily.
Fungicides:
Tolerant to the following herbicides: 2-4D, MSMA, Dicamba, Triclopyr, Bromoxynil, Imaxaquine, Siminize, Pennant, Balan, Betesan, and Prowl
